Killer Tears

73 Flip Books
Killer Tears by Miguel Rothschild consists of 73 small filpbooks with signed black-and-white photographs. Every book contains forty frames and together the 73 books make up a long cinematic story. Each book begins with a page of text as an introduction to the picture pages. A reference to the blocks of text of the silent movies.
These film is present as an installation. The small books are fixed to a shelf with a thin chain. It goes along the walls of the show room. Small dialogues are written on the covers of these books. The visitor walks along the shelves, and gives movement to the scenes between his thumb and forefinger.

The reason I post this because in the final show I will make the interactive movie in this way. My flip books will follow the muti-structure to present the story. In the show I want use light to point next step of the book. For the music my idea is - when audience take the book the book will touch off a switch to open the light. This will be control by Arduino.
Flip book is the old way to watch the movie but this also funny and interactive way. Audiences watch the movie by them own hand. At present, movie is made by filmmaker, audiences can not control the movie process. They can not get beyond the senses to the visual. However the propose of my project is to give the audiences more sensory enjoyment using the flip books from allows them to control the course of this film by themselves.

This is the tutorial about how to make a flip book. I searched from http://www.computerarts.co.uk/
It shows the details of making process. After the research, I will put the plans into practice.
